Sean Preston, CFA, works with Barry Glassman and the GWS Investment Policy Committee to provide research and due diligence for our investment strategies. As an inquisitive researcher and incisive financial professional, Sean brings his extensive knowledge in all types of investments including equity, fixed income, derivative and alternative assets to select investments and optimize our client portfolios.

Sean also leads the trading and rebalancing in our client accounts, as well as continually monitoring the performance of our investment strategies. He is responsible for staying current on market conditions and disseminating this information in his Daily Investment Report throughout the firm. Sean’s expertise is also applied to create investment models for our clients’ unique 401(k) plans.

Sean is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Banking and Finance from the University of North Florida. Prior to joining GWS, he was the Director of Operations, Cashiering and Mutual Funds for FolioFN where he managed a mutual fund platform in excess of $150 million.

Fact: Sean is totally outnumbered at home as the proud father of three beautiful daughters.
