In his role, Colin works closely with high-net-worth families on their investment strategies, retirement planning, estate planning, tax planning, and goals-based financial initiatives. He brings a unique blend of technical expertise and communication skills to each client relationship, ensuring that clients not only have sound financial strategies but truly understand them.

Since joining Glassman Wealth in 2015, Colin has grown from his original role in operations into a key member of our advisor team as Vice President. Throughout this journey, he has been instrumental in crafting the firm’s technology and curating systems that enable the advisory team to provide exceptional service with their signature “one client” mindset.

Beyond his client advisory responsibilities, Colin plays a key role in the firm’s communication strategy, finding refreshing and engaging ways to keep clients informed and involved in their financial planning process. Colin has been quoted in major media outlets such as Forbes and CNBC, and has been named multiple times by Washingtonian as a top fee-only advisor in the Washington, DC area.

Prior to joining Glassman Wealth, Colin worked as a consultant for an investment research and technology firm, where he collaborated with financial advisors across the country serving high-net-worth clients and families.

Colin holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Certified Investment Management Analyst® designations, and he graduated from Vanderbilt University with a double major in Economics and Spanish. As a DC-area native, he has deep roots in the community he serves.

Fact: Colin is an amateur musician. The highlight of his music career was playing the guitar and singing for the first dance at his sister’s wedding.
