Fee-Only Financial Advisor in Maryland
Glassman Wealth Services is a fee-only, fiduciary wealth management firm that serves high-net-worth families throughout Maryland, Virginia, and greater Washington DC from our office at Pike & Rose in North Bethesda. With more than $2.5 billion in assets under management (as of February 28, 2026), we work exclusively with high-net-worth families, most of whom live in Maryland, Washington DC, and Northern Virginia.
Our Maryland office is at Pike & Rose in North Bethesda, in Montgomery County, accessible from I-270 and the Beltway. We serve the entire DMV. We are not a franchise location, and we are not a national chain. We are an independent, employee-owned firm built for people whose financial lives have become genuinely complicated.

Who We Serve in Maryland
Wealth Management for Successful Professionals, Executives, and Families in Transition
We typically work with three kinds of clients, and you will probably recognize yourself in one of them.
Successful Professionals.
You have built significant wealth, and you no longer want to manage the complexities on your own. You value a firm that handles every detail proactively, from investments to tax strategy to estate coordination to insurance review, so you can focus on your work, your family, and your retirement. You have tried doing it yourself. Now you want a team you trust completely.
Executives, Equity Compensation Holders and Business Owners.
You are an executive or senior employee at a company along the I-270 corridor, at a corporate headquarters in the DC area, or you are part of the area’s large medical and research community, and much of your wealth is concentrated in company equity: RSUs, options, NQSOs, deferred compensation. You need coordinated planning across liquidity windows, tax exposure, and long-term diversification. You might even need help thinking through a business sale months or years ahead of time An advisor who actually understands how concentrated positions work is not a nice-to-have. It is a requirement.
Families Facing Transitions.
A spouse who has suddenly become the sole financial decision-maker. Parents planning for aging, long-term care, or what comes next for their children. A family receiving an inheritance. In Maryland, this often carries an added layer: the state’s estate and inheritance taxes, which make coordinated planning more consequential than it is for neighbors across the river. This group needs more than investment management. They need a steady, available, knowledgeable partner who shows up at the difficult moments, not just the quarterly reviews.
Our Approach
The Just One Client™ Philosophy
Fee-Only, Fiduciary, and Built Around You
The Just One Client™ mindset is the heart of how we work. It means we look to operate as if each client is our only client. That is a high bar, so let us make it concrete.

Wondering if Glassman Wealth is the right fit for your situation? Let’s find out together.
Is Glassman Wealth the Right Fit?
Glassman Wealth may be a strong fit if:
- You have $2 million or more in investable assets
- You want a fee-only, fiduciary advisor with no commissions and no product sales
- You prefer a single, dedicated team that knows your full financial picture
- You are likely based in Maryland, DC, or Northern Virginia and value in-person access
- You are navigating a major financial transition: a business sale, retirement, the loss of a spouse, an inheritance, or an equity liquidity event
Glassman Wealth may not be the right fit if:
- Your investable assets are below the $2 million minimum
- You are looking for transaction-based or brokerage services
- You prefer a national firm with branch offices across multiple states
Clients often describe us as the team that worries so they don’t have to.
Why Local Matters
Why Working with a Firm That Knows Maryland Matters
Serving Maryland from our Pike & Rose office in North Bethesda is a practical advantage, not just a geographic fact.
Maryland is one of the few states that imposes both a state estate tax and an inheritance tax, and the rules differ from those in DC and Virginia. We understand how to coordinate trusts, gifting, and residency decisions for Maryland families, and how those state rules interact with federal estate planning. That kind of fluency is not something a national call center can replicate.

Washingtonian: DC’s Best Financial Advisers – 2026
Published January 2026
The Washingtonian surveys hundreds of area financial professionals during the preceding 4-6 months prior to publishing the award. Fee-only advisers include certified financial planners who do not accept commissions or referral fees. To arrive at the names of the area’s top financial advisers, the Washingtonian distributed surveys to hundreds of people who work in the local financial industry, asking them whom they would trust with their own money. Washingtonian also did their own research, consulting industry experts and publications. The “best adviser” names on this list are the people who received the strongest recommendations.
Washingtonian Hall of Fame – 2023
Published February 2023
The list includes more than 100 financial advisers, tax accountants, insurance professionals, and estate attorneys who have repeatedly been named a top wealth adviser in Washingtonian’s pages. These professionals – all still practicing – have been on a Top Financial Advisers list at least eight of the past 14 years, including three of the most recent five. Some may have practiced elsewhere previously, but they are identified with their current firms.
