Glassman Wealth is a full-service, fee-only fiduciary providing highly personalized investment advice, financial planning, and wealth management. With one of the lowest client-to-advisor ratios in the industry, Glassman Wealth’s team of engaged, innovative advisors has the time to focus on each client’s unique needs and goals and dreams. This personalized and sophisticated approach enables Glassman Wealth to serve each client as their dedicated financial steward, helping them not simply to achieve their financial goals, but to realize their dreams.

As clients have heard most of the year, we are on a mission to better serve the clients of Glassman Wealth. In the first six months of the year, we enhanced our investment prowess by bringing on Nathan Sonnenberg. We introduced new technology, enabling our clients to see updated, accurate financial information online whenever they choose. This included the ability to track and view the details of their outside accounts along with those we manage. Lastly, we launched new, more meaningful quarterly performance reports.

This was impressive, but we are not done. We wanted to expand the talent, time and capabilities of the professionals serving our existing clients. To that end, Lindsay Garland is the next logical step of this phase.

Most of our peers (read: competitors) yearn to hire advisers who bring their existing clients with them, thereby increasing their assets under management (and their bragging rights). That’s never been our ambition.

Our goal is to continue to enhance the experience, attention, and expertise devoted to our existing clients. Lindsay is a natural fit as she has been advising clients for over a decade. She is coming here to serve some of our current and future clients.

Lindsay has worked for fee-only firms her entire career. We kind of wish she had some experience at a brokerage firm so that she would know how good she has had it. Nonetheless, her experience in investments and financial planning, are second to none.

She has achieved the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA) designation, one of the most prestigious and rigorous courses offered in investments; obtained only through the Wharton Executive Education Program at University of Pennsylvania.

So you might think that she’s just an investment nerd. Oh, she’s that and more. She loves to dive into multi-generational planning, helping our clients, their parents, children and grandchildren plan for the future. She’ll tell you that she thinks estate planning is one of the most important aspects of financial planning, and that she thrives on working through very detail-oriented strategies to get it just right for each client.

But, she almost didn’t join us. She has such a passion for caring for her clients that we needed to convince her that this was our shared passion. That the significant investments we are making in Glassman Wealth are not going toward marketing or PR, but toward a vision of serving our clients first. She loves the fact that we believe in smart growth.

Lindsay embodies our firm’s vision: We share a passion for enriching our clients’ lives.

And so, she joins us as Vice President of Financial Planning, tasked with taking all of the current and new capabilities available at Glassman Wealth and leading the client experience to an even higher and more personal level.
