Travis Russell, CFP®, employs many of the disciplines of success that he learned as a Division 1 hockey player – namely, persistence, practice, and a having passion for what you do – to his role as Principal and Client Advisor.
His desire to help families build successful portfolios is one of the primary reasons that he became an investment advisor and financial planner. Travis thrives on finding better ways to serve clients by bringing advanced strategies found at the highest levels of wealth to our clients’ portfolios and financial planning initiatives.
Travis has advised many high-net worth professionals over the years and has developed an expertise in the unique financial challenges they face during their careers. As a result of their hard work, many attorneys, physicians, and executives have accumulated wealth, but the demands of long hours leave them little time to adequately manage their investments or properly prepare for the future. Travis works closely with them to accomplish their retirement planning, estate planning, and tax planning priorities.
“Having had the benefit of working for other financial advisory firms, I enjoy the close-knit culture and team approach of Glassman Wealth Services. We foster close relationships with our clients as we build their confidence in their financial future. Clients trust that we have their best interests in mind, and that allows our team to build longstanding relationships.”
He also leads our research into these firms’ retirement plans which gives them valuable insight and transparency into the advantages and potential missed opportunities for their retirement dollars.
Travis demonstrates his expertise by working closely with our investment and financial planning teams to develop and deliver sound investment and wealth preservation strategies for all of our high-net worth families.
Travis received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Vermont and has attained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation.
