The Financial Times released their list of Top Financial Advisers for 2015 and Glassman Wealth is honored to be in the top six Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firms out of 25 selected in Virginia.
Known for the distinctive pink paper it is printed on, The Financial Times only last year included RIAs in its rankings. This is a significant step forward for Registered Investment Advisors who have a fiduciary duty to their clients and are held to the highest standard. Registered representatives are only required to make recommendations that are suitable for the investor.
More than 2,000 elite RIA firms from 34 states and the District of Columbia were invited to apply for consideration, based on their assets under management (AUM). The “average” FT 300 firm has been in existence for 23 years and manages $2.6 billion in assets. Glassman Wealth is honored to be a part of this list as we launched the firm in 2009 and have over $800 million in assets under management.
While we recognize that no Top Financial Advisor list alone can determine which financial advisor is the right fit for a client, they are a good place to start to find those who have been recognized in the industry.
