Client Advisor & Director of Financial Planning

Jessica Ness, CFP®, is a Client Advisor and Director of Financial Planning for Glassman Wealth Services.  From an early age, Jessica knew that she wanted to be a financial advisor and began by helping her grandmother with estate planning and college roommates with budgeting.

From giving her first financial advice to now with over a decade of experience, Jessica advises our high-net worth families providing expertise in investment management, retirement, tax and estate planning, as well as philanthropic and multi-generational planning.  Knowing that each of these financial planning components can be complex and overwhelming for families to coordinate, Jessica thrives on simplifying this process for our clients. She leads the interrelated efforts of our clients’ trusted advisors while maintaining the families’ financial priorities.

Jessica manages the comprehensive financial planning services offered at Glassman Wealth Services and ensures that our clients and their families not only receive exceptional financial planning and investment advice, but attentive care. As an advisor, she helps clients have a sense of control, strategy and direction for their financial lives.

As a passionate advocate for her industry, Jessica is a role model for up-and-coming financial advisors and, at GWS, has developed one of the most sought after internship programs for financial planning students in colleges nationwide.  Her accomplishment of winning the American Express Collegiate Financial Planning Invitational while studying at Virginia Tech is an inspiration to other students. She is invited to speak on campus several times each year where she shares her passion for her profession and valuable learning experiences while mentoring future financial advisors.

Jessica received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Applied Economic Management, Financial Planning Option from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.  She has attained her Certified Financial Planner ™ designation and is active in Financial Planning Association where she is involved with “Women in Finance” whose mission is to find better ways to serve the female client.  She is also among a group of experienced advisors who mentor younger planners new to the industry, and works to advance the legacy of the financial planning profession.

Fact: Jessica purchased her first house when she was just 18 years old, and rented it out to her college roommates.
